Actually, I do set everything on the camera's External Flash Control menu. I guess I should have said "You set everything on the 580EX II master via the camera's External Flash Control menu , and the 430EX II just does what it is commanded". :oops:

It's just that I love the EFCM, especially now I am playing with a radio trigger which implements the menus almost completely.
