ooooOOoOOoo....just found out that today is National Peach Cobbler Day. I think I shall do my patriotic duty and celebrate  And of course, never being one for halfway measures, I will sacrifice myself to a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top *melodromatic sigh*

PIRATE DAN and the other boaters, this is a video of a couple boats making a bar crossing maybe? Are they risking life and limb here or does this look more dramatic than it is? Terri you may want to throw a life jacket on if you are going to watch it. I kept a sick sack close just in case.

yo I just lost my job...

I am completely stunned. Shocked. I can't even imagine what you're going through. It's never a good time to have this happen, but now, for you, this is especially bad. I'm so sorry. I hope you can find something soon.

That was great! First scene was in Newport harbor. As for where the rest was filmed, I don't know. I don't think it's in the U.S., though, going by the licensing numbers on their hulls. They are crossing a bar, coming into harbor, during an ebb tide. Not the best conditions, to say the least. Having swells and waves directly on your stern makes for some very difficult steering. Been there, done that.

Thanks for sharing that with me. It's like a breath of fresh air for me. :D

Sorry she has to do the treatment, but, come on, radioactive? That's so cool. Maybe she'll come out of all this with a really neat superpower.

And we sincerely appreciate your sacrifice... ;)

My second thought was that I could probably talk Sally into baking me some, but I forgot that she is working late tonight. rats! I'll just have to get by with some plain old vanilla ice cream. :D

Still thinking on this. Obviously, I'm not the board, but this seems like a very risky move. Your clients, I'm assuming, don't deal well with change. Taking you, a major part of their lives, out of the equation, won't be good for them.

Still stunned.
