(note: insert your own reader in the step 5 "choose" section) Step 1 - Download CALIBRE from http://calibre-ebook.com/ Step 2 - Add your books to your CALIBRE libary. You can just drag and drop them there. Step 3 - Click PREFERENCES at the top right of CALIBRE. ... Step 4 - Click SENDING BOOKS TO DEVICES and put {series}{series_index:0>2s| - | - }{title} into the save template. Click Apply. Step 5 - Under preferences again, click METADATA PLUGBOARDS. Under add new plugboard, on the dropdown menu under format, choose EPUB, on the device, choose KOBO and put {series}{series_index:0>2s| - | - }{title} into the source template with the destination field TITLE. Save plugboard. Heather, I don't know how sony sorts things but this would work with yours too. Noted. Haven't dived in that deep. I just sort by author (with authors in Mystery and SF in their own subdirectories). Jon

When that gets filled, I buy another shelf... We're currently at around 100 or so shelves in 8-10 book cases at 60+ books per shelf. That would all fit nicely on a single 8 GB SD card. Which would Ali prefer you have? I know where Ann's preference is. Jon

That was a freaky ending to NCIS...I wonder whose eyeball that was. (if anyone saw the show) Couldn't quite tell whether it opened the door or locked it down, it happened so fast. I think it was a fake eyeball though, which was the point of Palmer's comments. 3Turner wrote in post #12210306 Wow...that's a lot of books. I have only a little bit of books...maybe 60 tops...but not in any order. Just stacked to and fro on the shelves...Cat wouldn't want to see those shelves. ![]()

I'm now standing firm, my books are part of the furniture.

Dozens of boxes of books. We've "thinned the herd" but still have way too many books, but at least I'm not adding to the stacks now that I have a Kindle.

Most of the books we got rid of were the popular pulp fiction stuff.
