Cool, Helen :) So what are #1 and #2? Oh, and I'm shocked (just shocked) the Title Fairy hasn't visited you and bestowed upon you a title worthy unto you!

#1 Cats #2 Sea Otters

#1 cats - the entire feline family, or just domesticated cats?

All cats. Especially lions & cheetahs. But of course I love my 2 the best!

I don't dive, just gaze from afar....and long to cuddle them! (Monterey is one of my favorite places to be).

Anyway, I have to go to a meeting - no talking about me while I'm gone!!

I used a weed whacker on the weeds growing up around the heat pump unit outside our church on Thursday. The line got tangled up in something so I pulled till it became free. Apparently the wires I was tangled up with went to the thermostat control. Today at church I noticed all the windows and doors were open in an effort to help cool the place down. Weed whackers have their place, but sometimes they are a bit of an overkill.

Having been in the landscape biz I have been there done that. I got one with a clipper once and a chainsaw another time(along with th e freon line that time:oops:). It should be a single wire, twist it back together and tape it and all should be good.

So! A few photos from my Capybara encounter:

Fascinating and allegedly tasty critter. I never heard of one as a pet.

We'll miss you. What happened to the internet that it's gone for a week?

Don't be sorry. Great shots that tell a story. I don't care how many times I see shots of the concentration camps, I'm always moved. I don't think I could go to one of those places and not become emotional.

That ^^

Hi Helen, lol. Terri you may want to cover your hair.

 Yes!

Checking in from work. It has been an interesting couple of days without the WWW at my fingertips. No ill affects from not having it, but it fascinates me how something becomes such a daily part of ones life. I walked to my office several times to do little tasks online that I just don't think about. I really did not realize how much I used the internet for day to day things.

Lonnie, in this months PCWorld they compare tablets and come to the conclusion that despite liking android a lot, the apple os is better and the ipad remains the top tablet.

One of their issues is that there are hundreds of thousands of apps optimized for the ipad and only hundreds for the android. Have you had any issues?
