Hi Folks :D
Had a great weekend out camping and partying once again. A bit of rain until mid-afternoon on Saturday, then it cleared up good. :)

ZANE, enjoyed reading the updates of your exploits. Too bad it is coming to an end.

Spike Update - Bladder stone that is about 7 mm, and thickening of the intestinal wall. Spike has been put on a special diet to see if it will lessen the stone, but if not the Vet is recommending surgery (not a pretty estimate). Waiting to see what our regular vet says and recommends. Spike is a little pissed off at us right now though for having to do the whole thing.

Here's to hoping the diet works well for him.

During my trip to Poland, I visited Auschwitz. It was of course very moving. I did take a few shots, although it's not the easiest place to photograph...

Great shots. I can't imagine going there and not feeling moved. Just seeing the photos does that for me.

Cool salt mine shots too.

If I had it to do all over again, I'd buy an abacus and an Etch•A•Sketch. I'd be just as productive.

 I loved trying to draw with those things, though really was never that good.

I don't dive, just gaze from afar....and long to cuddle them! (Monterey is one of my favorite places to be).

Anyway, I have to go to a meeting - no talking about me while I'm gone!!

I love Monterey. I could live at the Aquarium.

I'd go with a slide rule and skip the abacus.

I never was good on the Etch-A-Sketch. All I could create with it were staircases...

I ROCKED on the Etch-A-Sketch. Lots of hours occupied playing with that.

We went past a small group of remora (external link), and as there were no sharks passing they decided to stick to us, they were a real nuisance.

Now is that the god of the sea, water, earthquakes and horses, son of Cronus and Rhea and brother of Zeus, or the disaster movie staring Shelly Winters ?

It came along a little late to be age-appropriate for me. They're fun, though.
