My watch has stopped, as in nothing, nadda, no display at all. Does that mean I don't have to go to work, since it won't be 8:00 until I get a new battery?

Yes.

YAY!

You know, that "taste of the wild" dogfood we bought for a while is higher in protein/nutrients but without filler. It would definitely put some meat on her bones (in a healthy way).

Ours have lost their extra weight since we took them off of it. I don't know why they gained SO much weight on it (since it's all supposed to be very good for them but they did). The new food is working though (no allergies, thank heavens) and they are back to the weight they are supposed to be.

Look at you growing up in dog knowledge.:D:D:D

I think Taste of the Wild is what Remmie gets. He has a sensitive tummy and this he keeps down.

it's a good food. Our dogs were just too inactive this winter for it. Kona put on almost 10lbs. Hale was 6lbs too heavy too.

*drops in with fab recipe*

A classic summer favorite, caprese salad, lends its flavors to this easy chicken dish. The chicken is stuffed with mozzarella and basil leaves and then served with sautéed cherry tomatoes and a sprinkling of torn basil.

4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
4 (1-oz.) slices reduced-fat mozzarella cheese
8 large fresh basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon salt, divided
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup torn fresh basil

1. With small knife, make horizontal slit in chicken breasts to create pockets, being careful not to cut all the way through. Sandwich 1 cheese slice between 2 basil leaves; stuff into pockets. Secure with toothpicks. Sprinkle chicken with 1/8 teaspoon of the salt and pepper.

2. Heat large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add oil; heat until hot. Cook chicken 5 minutes; turn. Scatter tomatoes over chicken; sprinkle with remaining 1/8 teaspoon salt. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, covered, 4 to 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center. Sprinkle chicken with torn basil. Remove toothpicks before serving.

4 servings

PER SERVING: 275 calories, 12 g total fat (5 g saturated fat), 35 g protein, 5 g carbohydrate, 90 mg cholesterol, 370 mg sodium, 1.5 g fiber

I love Polska Kielbasa (never tried the turkey, but considering how well it substitutes for other meats, I'm sure it's good.) Your recipe sounds particularly good!!

Nothing that exotic here.....Italian Sausage, bow tie pasta, and some heavily doctored spaghetti sauce. It was good, though.

Sounds good though I have mental block about turkey substituted for other meat, not that I have honestly tried much.

It is great on a roll as a sandwich or over pasta/rice. Packs well too!

Oh that is funny because that is exactly Leyla's deal. She has a masters in environmental sciences and does mostly impact and compliance monitoring for large construction projects. She works for a big engineering firm and was hired, along with her boss, to help grow that side of the firm.

Judy works for a large engineering firm too. Her discipline is only a small part of what they do. Sounds like they do pretty much the same thing.

I hope Zoe gets over whatever is ailing her.

Same schedule around here.

I got home late to a dinner of curried chicken and corn on the cob. Lisa fried me up some papadums too. Tasted wonderful, and I was ravished. :)
