ZANE thanks for quoting Crissa's link, I'm listening now. Very nice. Then I shall let my phobias go rampant and watch Neil's video.
And Kimchi is a Korean dish, fermented they say, I say more like rotten, vegetables mainly cabbage. If I recall it is mixed up in clay pots and the pots buried during the fermentation.
From the news this morning it sounded like it was Vancouver that had the not so nice party. I don't get it and one of the reasons I'm glad I've never been swept up by sports.
JENN good luck at the interview.
During our walk this morning not only did I see a deer go behind a neighbor's house, but when she came out from the other side a fawn came with her. My day is made.

Thanks Becky!
Thanks Harm!
I'm finishing up my prep for the interview tomorrow... For the first time I've been asked to bring work samples... to show how comfortable I am with computers... Taking my net book and a power point presentation and a couple of printed documents of things I've created. One will be pretty fancy as I did the layout for our department's brochure... it's printed all fancy on glossy paper in color. None of that will show what I truly can do on computers but that's ok... *shrug* It will be enough for them I think...

Hi Deb

You are very right about how lucky I am. I have no right to complain about anything.
On a side note we are a bit concerned about Z-dots but it may be fro not. She was sick for a few days before we left, throwing up, a bit off her food. She seemed to recover and was only pukey once while we were away and that was after eating something nasty. My sis thought she looked thin and even rounded her cups a bit while she cared for her. Well when we got home we were both struck by how thin she was. Turns out she is 51 pounds down from 58 in February. She is thin. We took her in yesterday and her blood work is fine, will have poop sample results back today but other than that she is happy and active. It may be she was a bit thin to start and we did not notice then the illness and added stress of us away took a few more pounds, not sure. If the poop is clear she is probably fine short of some unseen major disease process but she does not act like she has something major. We bumped her food amount up a bit, will wait for fecal results and just hope it is nothing.
Awwwww! She missed you guys! Hope she's ok!

*drops in with fab recipe*
A classic summer favorite, caprese salad, lends its flavors to this easy chicken dish. The chicken is stuffed with mozzarella and basil leaves and then served with sautéed cherry tomatoes and a sprinkling of torn basil.
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
4 (1-oz.) slices reduced-fat mozzarella cheese
8 large fresh basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon salt, divided
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup torn fresh basil
1. With small knife, make horizontal slit in chicken breasts to create pockets, being careful not to cut all the way through. Sandwich 1 cheese slice between 2 basil leaves; stuff into pockets. Secure with toothpicks. Sprinkle chicken with 1/8 teaspoon of the salt and pepper.
2. Heat large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add oil; heat until hot. Cook chicken 5 minutes; turn. Scatter tomatoes over chicken; sprinkle with remaining 1/8 teaspoon salt. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, covered, 4 to 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center. Sprinkle chicken with torn basil. Remove toothpicks before serving.
