Yeah.....wish I had a spare battery and the rest of the stuff in the bag that sat on my office floor.

I saw your post about two dead cameras. I HATE that! The worst is a long walk then it dies so you are just carring a brick

First thought on that last shot.....why is Leyla wearing a bow tie? The light eventually came on and I realized it was the strap for the helmet.

Total brain fade on my part.....I looked at the cameras.....put cards in both and formatted them. Tossed cameras in car....went back to office for cell phone and something else (camera bag).....grabbed phone but couldn't remember what else I needed. Set out on safari. Wasn't long before I discovered my mistake, but long enough to not make it feasible to run back home for the stuff. I got what I could get and called it good.

Good Morning :)

We are back from a loooong trail ride with a friend and her mini austrailian sheperd thingy. It looks like Jasper just smaller. She trains service dogs so it was really fun to be out with another really well trained dog that thought a lot along the lines of how Zoë is trained. The only thing is it's name is Chloe, which sounds just like Zoë:lol:

Chloe is small enough our friend can pick her up by her vest, which has a handle, and put her on the horse with her.

Looks like a fun ride. :)
That Mini Aussie looks more like a real Aussie then most I have seen, other that the legs are longer in proportion to the body. We have a friend who just got one, though I have not seen it yet.

Two milestones coming up. I'll soon hit 40K posts, and In a week or so, I'll be a member here for 8 years.

Interesting thing about post count. I hit the first 30K very quickly, maybe in the first 4 years, but I've really slowed down. At one time, I was #3 in total post count behind only CDS and Marie. How the times have changed.

At my current level of involvement, it's a near-certainty I'll never hit 50K. 45K my be a pipe dream. I've really run out of things to say, and my audience appears to be shrinking

Still, a good achievement.
I started slow, picked up speed after a while, and have slowed up again in the last year or so.

Howdy all...

Weird question... who has ever been summoned for jury duty in a federal district court?

Hi Mike, nice photos. Do you do RC Helicopters as well, or just photograph them?

Yep, I do... first time out to the flying field, though. Lots of really nice people (and helpful!)

Right now I'm flying a Blade 400, flew on saturday, 2 flights. the second ended in a crash :( That was actually the first time I flew and successfully landed the heli (despite the fact that the head was loose and the flybar was missing some washers)

It's a lot of fun, but like photography, it's a money-pit.

Things are good, Crissa. Started to browse about for paediatricians and day care centres - holy crap they are expensive here!
