how to get this kind of pics???

i've been try this for more than a week with photoshop and lightroom(i'm juz a begginer)but i can't get this kind of picture.....can someone explain to me how to...cause i really like this pics so much and i plan to renew my wedding album....tq

For one thing, lower the black level.

Don't make the dark parts of the image, darker. So, you end up with nothing that is really black.

You may also want to desaturate the reds and oranges and boost the blue tones just a bit, really easy to do in lightoom. You may even want to try split toning the image with a few different colours for the shadows and highlights, play around with it and see what you come up with.

yeh...looks like they have backed off the black and have slightly desturated everything except for the blues.....and maybe just given it a slightly warm color cast.....(color cast could be my monitor though as Ive just recalibrated it and Im trying to get used to it :)..

i try using free downloaded action and presets and still can't achieve it.....i think i'll try it manually....thanks all....

some look like they used a navy blue fill layer, set blending to exclusion and turn down opacity to around 50%

reduce contrast and add fill light. overall a bit washed out looking.
