Used to own a boatload, but I've cut back. Down to 2: 70-200 f4 and 28-70 f2.8 (love the prices of trailing edge tech). Lightening the load has actually improved my skills.

Ok to change this again ive sold the 24-105 and purchased another 24-70 seeing as I miss my first one. Next is still the 100mm macro then ill just buy whatever I fancy seeing as ill have everything I want. Just need to add more flashes and an extender.

I've found this kind of topic on a lot of different forums and websites over the years. They seem to be therapeutic in a way. Generally, people LOVE to talk about themselves, but it's not normal to go about shouting about your shiny new L lens to people on the bus. (Showing photos of your newborn is though, apparently )

Notice how few replies to replies there are in this thread. But it doesn't matter. It's a hugely popular thread and will continue to be. It's like a big empty room... people walk in, mention that they have a really nice lawn, then leave. They feel better since they spent so much time cutting the darn thing and SOMEONE needed to know about it. But that's just my opinion.

Did I mention that I own 3?

Even more, look at the "picture's of lens thread" even more therapeutic :)
