How many Canon L Lens do you own?

Just 2. See my sig. I bought the 70-200 first so that all other gear and glass would seem cheap by comparison!

I definitely don't need them, but they are nice to have. I do a number of different types of photography (birds, insects, portraits, etc) so most get used regularly. The only one that doesn't see regular use is my 17-40 as wide angle isn't my thing, but there occasional jobs where I need it so it is worth keeping. I have been fortunate to make some money selling off a chuck of my record collection which has paid for some of them other than that I have just wait to find lenses that I want at a good price (I have scored a coupled of good bargains). I made a deal with my wife that I can buy gear if we can afford it (I haven't bought any of them on credit) and that if we need money I will sell some of them.

So do I need eleven of them? Absolutely not. But they do help me to earn some money and using them definitely makes me happy. Anyway there's only one or two more that I would like...

I also have 11, I can not see why u can't have more? They all have different uses.

I could easily buy some more if I had the cash, maybe a 200 f2? Or a 500L? I think I'm all set when it comes to short focal lengths.

Good kit doesn't make you a great photographer but its helps you suck less and means you have more to live up to. I have always believed that you should be limited by your ability and not your kit, and if you kit is better than your ability you have a responsibility to learn how to use it well.

Two... dreaming about a third, the 1.2 fifty... but as i said, dreaming...

Only 1, the 100-400L. I sold the 135L and 200 2.8L for a Sigma 70-200 OS. Although I would love a 500 4L.

Finally at 3 L's with my ideal set up! I really can't justify purchasing another prime lens lol.
