Absolutely amazing series Judy! This post and all the other parts of the set too. These images make me want to get back up there again SOOOO bad! When I was there last time, I only had a Mini DV camcorder along that captured stills too, all the pictures were cr@p. Where about in Alaska were you when you shot these?

These need to be in a book! Even if it is just a book for your coffee table, they are amazing!

Thank you. My sisters are really pushing for that, so I will probably go ahead and do it (if I can find the time...).

Thanks, Mike! This whole series was shot on the far side of Kachemak Bay from Homer.

Thoroughly enjoyed your series Judy... thanks for the brilliant postings of the majestic bird... some of the most interesting eagle shots I have seen... lovely work.

I have an eagle watch going here, mother eagle is sitting on eggs close by here on the "frozen tundra" .... tough conditions with the dumping of snow this weekend...

Thanks so much for the kind words, Dave. Hope your mama eagle makes it through with her chicks.

I've really enjoyed all these Judy. Make sure you go through them thoroughly so you didn't miss any that still need to be posted. #7 is a really cool and unique shot. You're a good advertisement for a trip to Alaska.

Thanks so much, Mike. I really can't post 'em all -- there are more than 100 of 'em in the gallery I have!
