Copied from SlickDeals (NOT MY POST, credit to brush)
Original link (external link)

Discover has introduced new send money now service through paypal which is free to use and money is deposited directly into recepient's paypal account which can then be withdrawn (only recepient needs to have paypal account). This money counts as purchase and regular APR applies, you will also earn regular rewards on the transfer.

Daily limit: $400, monthly limit: $1000

No fees associated with discover card to paypal transfer and withdrawl at paypal has also been free if you use direct deposit. I saw this option of send money on their mobile application and thought it was worth posting.

if youre trying to take advantage of the cash back rewards it doesnt seem worth the time unless you can transfer large amounts each day or month. most people are limited to 200 a day and 500 a month. 2-5 bucks a month doesnt seem worth it really for all that hassle and making sure you pay immediately once it shows up on the bill otherwise you incur your cards interest rate which is more than 1% and negates the whole thing.

however this is really worth it if you need the cash up front. cash advances from cards usually have super high interest rates and this would be the same rate as a purchase.
