I just read about the new Photoshop touch soon to be released so that one can use a touch device like iPad as an editing device to interface with Photoshop. I can't wait to try one of these aps out.

So anyone with a love for PS and programing can make any kind of interfacin app they want for it. Gizmodo has an article about the first one created so far and I can see the possibilities. If only the iPad was sensitive enough to be used as a Waccom. -- Tristin

Bet it will be shocking to use...IMO The sensitivity of the Ipad screen is not condusive to a good Photoshop experience....Unless they change the screen sensitivity dramatically in future iterations nothing beats a mouse , Keyboard and a drawing tablet like intuois . The Ipad isnt even any good for RAW or large JPG general image editing . Its slow and clunky and the colors on the screen are all over the place like a mad womens breakfast . Maybe IPAD 3 0r 4 may have this nailed but I doubt it because the screen sensitivity using fingers is key to the use of Ipad and unless Apple develop a dual use Ipad that can have stylus / graphics tablet sensitivity as well as finger sensitivity (less) then I think it will be useless for image editing. Rgds Agree. My iPad is great for browsing, email and looking at images, but the touch screen sensitivity/resolution is very poor for doing anything that requires a modest amount of accuracy. Even taking handwritten notes is pretty horrible. Bob

IMO enjoy using an iPad for what it is and leave the image editing to a PC or Mac. ![]() Agreed. -- Tristin
