Just checked for you... they both click/pop though the 1D3 has slightly more resistance and a bit more of a click ???

Thanks...mine doesn't feel anything like my Mark III!! I'll have to send it in to have it fixed. I really don't use the button all that often, but for a $5K dollar camera, I would at least like to know it works without resistance!!

Well, that sucks for you. I personally never use the DOF Preview button, but at least it's there and does work on my cameras.

Yeah...it does!! What also sucks is the camera is just a couple months out of warranty and I'll probably have to pay something to have it fixed. I'm sending it out on Monday to have it repaired...hopefully it doesn't cost too much!!
