I'm playing around with a few of these old Pentax manual lenses. I picked up a 135mm f/3.5 and 200mm f/4 from eBay for less than $40 bucks each. They're a little scuffed up but heck, I think the 200mm is 35 years old. Here's a shot of some spring buds on a tree with the 200, straight from the camera. I may go out in a little bit with the 135, and my Canon 18-135 to compare with.

Looking at these now, with absolutely no p/p except crop and resize, I think these old antiques work pretty well, especially for less than $80 bucks...
