Hello, I am getting ready to purchase some lighting and have two questions, first some background. My needs are two fold, wireless off-camera flash (580EXII), mostly fill light situations and some creative outdoor work and studio lighting. I want to accomplish this as efficiently as possible. For studio lighting I have narrowed my selection to Alien Bees or Einsteins. I would like to purchase the Cyber sync/Cyber commander system and would like to share it as much as feasable with off camera flash duties, rather than purchasing two systems ie. Cyber gear for studio & PW for the 580EX. It appears to me I can do this, with a CST Cyber trigger transmitter and a CSRB Cyber Sync battery receiver. if I decide to, I can add a Cyber Commander for the studio lighting. What I am not clear on is if I am correct, how do I attach a CSRB Cyber Sync to the 580EXII? Or is it even possible. So any input, suggestions would be helpful.

Secondly, I am still trying to decide between the Alien Bees and Einstein. I know Einstein appear to be all the rage, but I think that my current and anticipated needs can be met nicely with the Alien Bees. Again seeking input, suggestions to help me determine if I am overlooking anything about Einsteins that might make it a better purchase. Thanks.

Best, Bruce

1) Get the CSRB+'s, especially if you are considering the CyberCommander
2) Both the B's and B+'s come with a cable to connect to your 580EXII's. You can purchase a better screwlock version from FlashZebra.
3) If you can afford them, get Einsteins, they are worth it. If not, Alienbees are nice too.
