Was the camera handheld or on a tripod?

It was handheld or rested on a railing kinda with a 85L 1.2 on it which makes it very hard to stabilize.
I was on my motorbike had all my gear but no tripod or glidecam on me so....

Makes sense. Well the 85mm will make stabilizing hard without IS so a tripod or a steadicam would make it look much more fluid. Other than that, it doesn't look too bad. Looking forward to what else is to come :)

It will definitely be wide, and depending on your shooting style, it might just fit what you're working for.

What does a 5D II have to do with using a glidecam? The 7D was perfectly fine for what you are trying to shoot.

The Tokina will work on a full frame when placed at the 16mm end of the zoom.

Anyways video needs to be stabilized, but you already know that. It's also kind of annoying that half the video was logos at the beginning.

I needed full frame for a job i just picked up to save me money so i didn't have to go buy 3 more lenses and i wanted the 5dm2 again deep down was just looking for any excuse to get one.
I would suggest to anyone to use a glidecam shooting any video so you not wasting time tracking in editing suite!

The Tokina will work on 5d and 5dm2 take a look at this guy here he has some killer shots from all parts of that 11-16 2.8 http://www.flickr.com/photos/ken-gilbert/ (external link)
He sold me on the idea only person online that has abused this lens on a full frame.. I have 2 choices 15mm fisheye canon Prime or 11-16mm 2.8 both are sharp but one has more to play with.
Yes i would think 11mm is going to be a joke on a full frame but he pulls it off on certain images... but he used 12-13-14-15-16 many times over in his images on a 5D and i see no issues...
I am going to pick this lens up today for good been borrowing

The video was a test running his sponsors i think we will chuck this clip and start from scratch with all the proper gear.. I rode my motorbike to the spots that day i could not carry all the big items!

One question, what exactly are you going to be shooting with your rig?

Since when did it matter what i shoot?
Its not like i am sticking a 8MM on a FF camera?
I don't understand where this would be going.
The 11-16 2.8 makes more sense for fishy style images in which i think i will use very much i would rather have the 11-16 than a flat out 15mm canon 2.8..
Like i has said that flickr link of the guy who has used the 11-16 on a 5d and 5dm2 i cannot say enough good things about the images he has in his flickr.
He should be a tokina sales rep for Full Frame. I need one last lens for my bag at this point and I have done much research i will have vid and images coming from the 5dm2 soon.
Out of all my lenses in my bag right now the one i want is something sharp and in the range of 11-16 aka 15-16 but bonus getting 12-13-14 along with it thats usable on full frame..
I shoot images more than video but will be shooting more video again with the full frame this year!
I know some shooters hate fishy images some despise it.
As well with PP you can also correct the fishy-ness of the images and i will be throwing another crop in my bag as a back up so the 11-16 will come in handy no matter what!

I have been getting paying gigs so i am shooting images / video for whatever pays the bills at this point..
I have not used a 15mm canon prime 2.8 yet though so maybe i am making a mistake?

I was just wondering is all. I shoot video and need a wide angle as well, though since I'm shooting short films and hopefully a feature in a bit, I look for something wide enough without much distortion. Extreme wide is great in action and such, so there's always a place for it :) like I said, that's also why I can't wait to see more...

11-16 gives you the 15-16 which isnt that harsh in the distortion department..
Below it is..

I would rather spend less on the tokina knowing its as sharp as the canon prime fisheye...

http://www.flickr.com/photos/ken-gilbert/ (external link)

If you on flickr add this guy and seek his images with the 11-16 he labeled each shot with what he used so he has some great images on full frame that give you an idea what to expect..

Since it not my account or images i cannot post them..
