Pretty much it's just that. I've been using it instead of Twitpic at the moment as it has some more friending facilities.

The (hopefully) sunny Isle of Wight :)

I noticed that - I think that's one of the good features... I also caught sight of the twitpic furore, seems they committed the cardinal sin of "photo hosting" and that always goes down like a turd in a jacuzzi! :D

Catching up from the past couple of days...

That's because some animals see camera lenses as large eyes looking at them.

And some just want a closer look!

Evening all. Not been out with the camera today. Part of my fence blew down, so i had to fix it up before i could let Lenny wander the property.

Im thinking of going to Wingham tomorrow with SWMBO and Toby. If the weather holds out.

I had to share this with you.

"Yesterday I was at my local Sainsbury's store buying a large bag of Winalot dog food for my loyal pet and was in the checkout queue when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog.

What, did she think I had an elephant?? So, since I'm retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her that No, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Winalot Diet again.

I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is you load your pockets with Winalot nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in queue was now enthralled with my story.)

I added that I probably shouldn’t, because I ended up in hospital last time, but I'd lost 2 stone before I woke up in intensive care with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.

Horrified, she asked me if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me. I told her No, I stepped off the kerb to sniff an Irish Setter's bottom and I was hit by a car.

I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard. I was escorted from the shop and I'm probably now banned from Sainsbury's.

Moral of the story...
Better watch what you ask retired people.
We have all the time in the world to think of daft things to say. "

Hilarious!!

morning all, all moved in and my "office" room all stripped!

Has anyone got a Steam Wallpaper remover I can borrow?

Nice Lynx photo but then again I'm biased

Glad to hear the move went well. When's the house warming?!?

Klystron wrote in post #12502741 (external link)
What you need is to put on here "free beer and bring your own stripping knife"

I like the free beer idea...but these strippers with knives are slightly worrying.

Very cool set! I found out about this from a friend online after it was all over or I would've been down there shooting as well.

This one is from the Loire region and is the largest chateau in the area, very impressive although the grounds are a bit bare and boring, there is a massive forest surrounding it though:

It was an awesome chateau! Shame that the grounds were a bit bare and boring though. There's a few rows of bleachers where I took this shot from so I guess they put on shows and displays at various times through the year.
