Sorry, Mike, we can't find anything for that little fella. Would love to know what it is if anyone does find out.

Not sure that it means you have tickets. I bid up to £1200 for 2 pairs of tickets for quite a few events. The link from the BBC suggests you will find out exactly towards the end of the month.

Not sure what else it would mean. I didn't apply to buy any memorabilia ;)

I don't recall what I bid for now, or how many of each so I have no idea which of my bids was successful. I'm certain that at least one was though, given the charge.

Hmm, not so sure on that ID as not enough white on breast, but I might be wrong.

It's got us stumped here too.

I wonder if it's a redstart going by the tail colouring?! - I am not good on bird ID - if you add it to the bird ID group on Flickr they'll tell you - they know everything about our feathered friends!

It'd be a good one for the Bird Forum here too, especially if anyone from France reads it :)

Thanks Dom, yes, you should! And I can happily report that the trains both ways through the tunnel were on time and no hassle, nice job!

Here's one from when we had a thunder storm in Provence and took shelter in a bar...not quite sure if I'm happy with the PP or not...

I like the PP on that shot - really works for me. Whaddya do?

Evening all.

Im no bird expert Mike, but it could be a Nightingale, going by the RSPB Bird Identifier.

Thanks chaps.

JD, I started with one of the LR presets - "Color Creative - Color CP2" I think it was and then played around with the other sliders until I got it looking like that, especially the saturation and luminance sliders.

Evening everyone!
Back at the pub to get my internet fix.

Lovely market shots Mike - very vibrant.

As Lee said i met up with him at the BWC for a surprisingly warm and sunny afternoon of critter watching.

Heres a few that i came away with.

Now, i dont really shoot insects very often - im just not very good at working with them ( unlike Mark - Lord of the Dragonflies). I tried to make these a little different, composition wise, do you think they work?

If only someone had a kitten to photograph... I think Adrian has a new bunny?

All I have is this...
