That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans

Did you see on Springwatch how that guy had managed to get green woodpeckers to climb a tree post to get more natural shots. He'd taken 5 years to get them off the ground by tempting them with live mealworms. Not sure I'd have the patience for that - but the idea is a good one!! Find Clare's gear here

I've got 3 different types of branch now taped to the top of my feeder. www.iesphotography.co.uk

Baby Starling on my Mk2 bird feeder perch. The Mk1 was a tree that had died a few years ago, the birdies loved it but the wind and root got the better of it, so the Mk2 a 3" x 8' fence post and some metal garden canes the birdies were grumpy for a day or two but the rumbley tunnies got the better of them IMAGE LINK: http://www.flickr.com …53825126@N07/5860280585/] IMAGE LINK: http://www.flickr.com …/53825126@N07/5860280179/ Sometimes I take good photos other times !!!!

Still light here. Loving the Birdie shots. I would take some of my own, but somebody has stolen my bird feeders from my bird table. I really cant believe it. My own laziness overcame the need to take pictures. Am I terrible or what? Anke
