Phoned WEX earlier to check on delivery of their stock, the Japan situation is why they're still on backorder. No projected delivery dates are available. It's not just the 5Ds, it's most things they're currently out of stock on.
Now the rest of the world is starting to feel the crunch of the Japan disaster.

Might have to bite the bullet and pay more to get it from Jessops.

nothing on Canons Ebay site at the moment. Thats a good place to look.

Have a look at HDEW Cameras £1725 and in stock...........the prices as others have said creeped up recently as I paid £1600 for mine at the tail end of last year

That's fantastic! It really shows how it sends out many paths to get to the ground and when the first one hits it's transmits all of the power. Well, that's what I'm assuming anyway.
