No need to apologise, Rob :)

Shots are lovely too, really nice black and white conversion.

Thanks Chris :)

I just wanted to make sure they didnt look too tonally flat on other peoples monitors. The macbook seems to make everything seem over rich and saturated.

On the iPad, the shoes look as though they could do with a little more contrast ... But that could be the iPad screen messing with the image!?

Otherwise lovely shots :)

I quite like the shoe shot for that though. Horses for courses :)

Thanks guys :) - also just noticed some smudges toward the top of the shoe shot from accidentally pasting some brush adjustments from another image.

Photoshoot - Matthew Masters, PGA Golfer (external link) by Richard Pardon Photography (external link), on Flickr

All shot, retouched and delivered to the client within 24hours which he's thrilled about. Mainly because we're off to Spain shortly and I don't want editing looming over my head!

Feel free to comment on it on FlickR if you wish, or alternatively you can visit my blog (http://blog.richardpardon.co.uk (external link)) where theres more images and a bit of background information. The PocketWizard Flex's and Hypersync worked wonders on this shoot! :-)

They look a little wishy-washy on my screen, other shots are fine however.

300mm F4, you know it makes sense ;)

Clare, that shot of the dogs...is the dogs :D

Nice shots Rob, but I'm with Clare on the shoes they don't stand out enough from the background for me.

Fabarama! I'm intrigued by your lighting setup on that one.

Two speedlites, one gelled with 1/4 CTO as key light to the left of camera (45 degrees on to Matthew) and the second pretty much parallel, zoomed and angled slightly in front of him to capture the sand.

Using PocketWizard Flex's and Hypersync so it was shot at F3.5, 1/1600th Sec and ISO160 :-) Hypersync is a brilliant function, absolutely loved it for this type of shoot as its all action based

Very nice looking forward to some more pics

@Rob love the pics but re the shoes agree with Clare either more contrast or lower the exposure a tad or bit of both

Great job!, the client must have been thrilled.

Rob the B+W conversions look fine, I ageee I'd like to see more in the shoes to sseprate them from the background.

Now that Ian has had the ok for the bournemouth wedding shots, heres a quick couple from me:

Rich looks as though you had a good time, love the vibe in the last one.

On a completely different note, I mentioned ages ages ago about upgrading my ram on my laptop. Finally got round to doing it and wow quite a difference, went from 4 to 8gb and definitely recomend it. Definite improvement with speed.
