Im not a big fan of "very" HDR, however i think this is a stand out piece of work

Dan - great shots - really love the girls having a laugh.

I've been sorting out this photobooth sort of thing I'm doing next weekend. My helpful dogs were willing models as usual

Carrying on sanding down the potting bench I'm making (giving the neighbours a lie in without the noise of my sander). I finished the wood, assembled the bench then had to apply a bit of woodfiller. Yuck.

I usually apply varnish at the end but this time I finished the pieces before assembly .. Back to the old way next time.

Nigel out of curiosity what varnish do you use.

I have neglected a hardwood garden furniture set and will have to give it a serious sanding and not sure what is best to treat it with, I was considering trying teak oil as I have tried ronseal 5 yr treatment that was only good for one

One the way out going through the Bay of Biscay a few dolphins swam by and it was one of those very rare occasions when I had the right lens on the camera.

wicked Dolphins Adrian!

The sky went a crazy colour with strange lines in for about 10mins earlier while I was outside sorting some bits out, had to grab the camera

Wow Adrian those are amazing, very well done. Right place right time and woohoo right lens!!!

I'm doing doggy portraits at a charity dog show next weekend, so this was a test to see if my lighting / gazebo / background setup was going to work outdoors. Needs a little tweaking but I think it will be ok. Am doing it all for free (people will be paying for a digital copy of one image but ALL the money going to the two dog rescues that the show is in aid of) but hoping for lots of local interest and it's very close to our house (literally opposite where I live!) so should be fun
