I've been giving it a few coats of Ronseal Diamond Hard Varnish ETA The main woodworking podcasts I follow are American, or Australian, so any info I come across may not be suitable for the UK. Woodwhisperer Matts Basement Workshop The Renaissance Woodworker Stu's Shed Nanscombe wrote in post #12817391 Adrian, I found this article on Wooden Garden furniture .Teak oil is mentioned but it also says you need to apply a coat every year. Thanks, had another look at the ronseal site and oil looks as though it is the way forward so will give it a go. Adrian
