Thank you ... There are a large quantity of shots on flickr no surprise there! www.flickr.com/photos/clare_forster (external link) just incase anyone's interested!! The ones of the F16 on Sunday came out really well as the sky was a beautiful dark blue colour which showed off the anti-missile flares beautifully!!

I like the fact that Clare descibes motorbikes as "Red" and "Green" but an F-16 with anti-missle flares is like second nature ;)

Well I had intended on describing the bikes in full detail after my latest trip to Brands - just to really surprise you all that I knew the details of each bike ... But my dastardly plan was foiled when the programme sellers had by shut up shop before I'd bought a programme!!

The planes I have photographed for longer so am more familiar with, plus the F16 is my favourite jet (well second to the Arrows)

But said with a girlie twist - of how the blue colour compliments the flares ;)

absolutely

Rob thanks for the opinion on Perfect Layers, after reading on the net a bit further I came to much the same conclusion, and made the effort to try and work out Elements - my brain just doesn't seem to compute certain things. Like map reading I can't do that either  I think most of this software is written by men ;)

I'm off to train a dobermann this morning in preparation for some pop promo - tis the night shoot Thurs night that was cancelled last week due to the riots.

And yes ... she was following the planes as they flew overhead and was attempting to take photos ... would have loved to have seen the results!!

:D :D :D epic! :D Looks like she's videoing though as finger nowhere near the button, unless she's got the reflexes of a (insert thing with fast reflexes here, brain not working today) :)

I have to agree that the F-16 has been my favourite since being a kid. That and the F-18 certainly do the best displays. The Reds are good but I've never gushed over them, the Italians always scare me, think they put up 10 planes in total

If you have a spare moment google "Blue Angels F-18" and find some youtube videos. Saw them back in 1992 at either Woodford or RAF Finningley, I think their motto was something really cheesy like "Instead of G-Suits we do press ups" Typical of the US Navy. Went out to Pensacola in Florida to their home base, amazing museum there well worth a visit.

Did you manage to get some decent shots with it at the Salutation?

Last nights were not too good but I think Cindy got a decent one this morning. How did yours turn out?

The gardens at the Salutation are amazing and overall, it was a great place to stay. Enjoyed Sandwich too - lovely place :)
