My first bird shots.

I always think of seagull shots as low degree of difficulty, high reward for minimal effort. Such a graceful bird.

Despite the fact that Lightroom automatically signed this, it's taken by my 14yo daughter. I think she timed it perfectly even if it is soft.

This little guy seemed quite young to me. This is the closest I have been to a Blackbird 1.5m and he was just sitting in the undergrowth and was slow to move away, so this was an easy shot, although lacks in composition.

Thanks I agree - wanted more DOF in the others - but they just weren't playing. All shy birds or fast flyers.

With kind regards
Jeff

Thanks very much, very kind. Wanted the others with more depth of fielf, but they just wouldn't come out of the hedge.

With kind regards
