Long time reader and first time poster 
I was reading the Herringbone hand strap thread and have to resist myself from seeing how nice the straps are and ordering them. The black-red combination is just so "L"!
So doing a bit more searches on Ebay, I came across this brand of Korean camera accessories maker called Gariz, and they offer this hand strap:

Have any one used this strap? Or even have any experience with their products? The only English based info I could find online was some user from the philipines photography forum mentioning about using that ring connector but there's not much more about its quality and how "durable" / "reliable" this product is.
Ultimately, I'm wishing for a nice slim way to hook up both a shoulder strap and a hand strap to the camera using a plate (i.e. shoulder strap from one camera hook to plate hook, hand strap from the other camera hook to the other plate hook). I don't want to use the hook at the battery grip as I want to have the option to use and not use the battery grip.
