these are good photos, good composition, but the softening looks too over processed, making her look odd.

I agree.

She is a beauty. Good genes I assume.

great everything, but the brushing is too strong on the face.

when you are working near the essentials such as lips, nose line, eyes, etc.. start a new brush and bump the clarity back up so the lines dont blend it and make it appear too fake.

There are no rules for a good photograph and there are no excuses for a bad one.

agree with the softening comments. The last one....would have like to have seen her arm not cut out. First one is good except for too much softening. Over all...she is gorgeous.

Thanks folks for your thoughts!

Her senior prom is coming up so I am practicing every chance I can get.

Like the series....really nice job. I think #4 standouts the most to me. I dig it. :) The soft focus effect in #3... I'm assuming this was added in post? Hard to truly judge the processing at web sizes... looks a little heavy with the skin smoothing... but.. maybe the full res files hold the details?

Nice captures.

I disagree....I love the processing. I would just ask her.....if she likes it, then its perfect and a hint as to what the senior crowd likes.

Littttle bit too much skin softening. If it's done very subtle, then it's nice. But it really looks too fake & overdone.

Otherwise great job.

Thanks again guys for your critical eyes...I will shoot her in her prom dress and see if I can make some adjustments.
