Going to Vegas! - Safe to bring 5D?!

i took pics inside and outside of the casinos with no problems.

i did take pics while on the casino floor without incident - machines and tables in the background and my wife and son in foreground.

whoever is manning the security cams can tell if someone is genuinely just snapping vacation pics vs someone snapping pics to cheat or whatever.

Perhaps the LV folks could create an impromptu Canon get-together at one of the local hotspots, inviting Marloon?

I am sure there are a handful of Las Vegas area members here on the boards. I wish Fort Wayne drew a larger crowd, we actually have quite a few folks on POTN that are in the area, and it would be fun to bring everyone together periodically to meet up and share stories, and even more fun to meet up with travelers on POTN!

Yup there sure are. Search for las vegas canon shooters and theres a thread. Heck click on my flickr and youll see a few vegas shots. Im mainly a portrait photographer but once in a while do photowalks.
