an RF remote shutter trigger for 50D
a quick release adaptor for my manfrotto tripod
a bidirectional level, which I crazy glued (yes, straight) onto the quick release base
LCD screen protectors (top screen and back screen)

Got everything set up and suddenly my rig has made a big step forward in versatility.
My 50D + 24-105L, B+W mrc polarizer, 430EXII, together with all this stuff, is really working for me.
I've seen mixed online reviews for the remote trigger but the cute blonde at Vistek said it was dependable and it is pretty slick technology.
Everything works well together and doesn't take up much room in my small shoulder bag/camera bag. I am stoked!
Anyone else feel they've "got their rig" down now?

I'm pretty stoked with what I have now, but I could always use more.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

good for you! Enjoy it, it won't be long before you have a new list of "must haves". It's a sickness, and there will never be a cure. ; )
