I'm looking at this shot now and it looks cloudy to me. I did this in Lightroom and it looked perfect. Downloaded full res to smugmug and then linked back here. Any thoughts on why this has happened?

It does look just a little cloudy, but WOW what a great capture.

OK, I reworked this one to see if I could get rid of the cloudiness. Does this look better?

Chris the re-worked one looks better but you now have noise in it, particularly in the sky. Your first post looked like it had been "smoothed" or "smudged".

I don't use Smugmug so I can't say if that was the cause.

I almost forgot to say that I like the composition.
