Today was my moms birthday and she was really excited about all the flowers she got so we snapped a few portraits in our living room with a few of the flowers, i wasn't particularly happy with any of the captures with the exception of a few and have come to the conclusion that i need practice practice practice when it comes to shooting with multiple off camera light sources... let me know what you guys think:

I think the first one is my fav, although the white roses on the floor should have been moved up onto the hearth. I understand the INTENT of staggering them, but don't like how her shoe ended up covering them. A more flattering placement for her feet might have been to sit more forward in the chair, cross feet at the ankles, and tuck/fold the crossed ankles back towards the fireplace. If you can picture that. Still, it is a lovely picture of your Mom in her beautiful home, surrounded by the floral tokens of love. That last pic shows her personality better, too bad she wouldn't have given you a more "contented" grin in the first few, but still, lovely photos!
