Just wanted to get a feel for what POTN folks thought. I have read good thing so far on various places, including POTN (like "can't wait to buy" or the like). But is Yongnuo hit or miss, pretty good quality control? Thanks.

I looked at the yn-560 but then discovered they had regular auto flashes like the Canon brand name flashes. I will buy brand name to get quality but money also talks and the Yongnuo speedlights are pretty cheap compared. Xsi, 18-55

5280Pics Goldmember More info | I have been using a YN-467 for a while. I have had no problems with it. Once the batteries start to get low the performance drops. I just throw a fresh set of batteries in and it's good to go. _______________

There were old quality control problems with the flashes that have a plastic hotshoe foot, but they have since switched to metal and improved the quality. I have a YN-468 with ETTL. I just bought another YN-460ii as well. Do they all have metal hotshoe foot ?, I am buying rigth now from amazon and the picture shown semm they are plastic ...

My 602s have also been bullet proof. I did manage to overheat a 460ii during a shoot by popping it off at full or near full power for about 15-20 mins pretty non-stop. It took about 15 mins to cool down, and then was fine. My junk

BrandonSi Nevermind.. I'm silly. More info | Apr 17, 2011 22:00 | #15 The only "problem" I've had with the RF-60x triggers is that when the battery gets below a certain point, it won't fire. It will still give you the right lights, things will light up, and look like it should be working, but you won't get a flash. When in doubt with YN stuff, replace batteries.
