I have a 460-2, 468, and RF 602 triggers. They've been nothing but solid for me.

Can the Yongnuo Yn-460ii's be fired optically? Is there a port on them to insert an optical slave....or is there already a sensor?

I had 1 YN-560 and it has worked well so far, good enough I bought 3 more. I have 2 580ex2 speedlights for when I need ettl, but these have shown to be fine for OCF useage.

I have a 460, and the two slave modes allow it to be fired optically.

The 560 is no different.

Love them both

I want to try yn-560 but my research shows that the optical slave mode ( S2 mode) won't work well if I use my 7D wireless commander with 430EX II in ETTL

I love my YN-560's. I have two of them, one plastic foot and one metal foot, and they both work great. Only thing I do not like is that when you turn them on, if you do not hold the button long enough they Will shut right back off, but other than that they are wonderful.

well this weekend i was playing around with my RF-603's and 1x YN-560 off camera to get familiar with it... wow it is different!!!!!!

i really like the rf-603's as each is a rec/trans..... no need to have x of one and x of another...

now im starting to read up on all this light box, black background, white background, strobes, etc... grrrrrrrr

for me think another 560 or yet maybe go cheaper YN-460's for remote flash as i can get 2 vs 1 560... hmmmmm more reading in this forums!!!!!!!! MUST PRESS ON!!!!!!!!

I use a G12, 430EXII, and a 220EX. Will the 602 and 603 work with these? I know the 220EX will only fire at full power. I guess my question really is will they work with the G12 as I know they have been tested with both flashes.

Been using their flashes (YN560) and wireless system (rf-602) and they work fine.

They should. The 603 is camera specific though, Canon or Nikon.

I got a 7$ shutter release cable, and it works perfectly.
I plan on picking up a flash or two from them in the near future too!

I just used my YN=560s in my first photo shoot (newborn) yesterday. They were fantastic! I'm toying with the idea of selling my 430EX II to get another YN-560 and a YN-468, even!
