Desert Skyline. This is a derivative digital rendition from my original photography. This fantastic skyline was about 5 miles away so I photographed with a 400mm lens. I took 5 photos and merged them together to make this panorama. I removed the natural color then colorized it for a great Southwestern feeling.

Double Arch, Arches National Park. I was shooting from the inside of this double arch structure looking out. This is a photo merge, I shot two shots of the top then two shots at the bottom. I merged the upper and lower on the left then merged the two on the right. I then merged the left and the right together. I got rid of a couple of dozen people and a parking lot full of motorhomes using Photoshop CS5's "content aware fill. A wide angle can't take in this whole scene and that is why I love the photo merge feature on software today. A side benefit is the file is now a 122 megabite tiff that can print at very large perportions.
