is another's junk also... For $100, I picked up these lenses along with useless 2 Video Cameras, Canon t-50, and a minolta film camera. There were 2 canon FD 50mm f1.8 lenses & Yashinon DS 50mm f1.7.. 5 tele-converters including an M42 mount extension tubes. Some lenses I've never heard of which I probably couldn't give away. There's a Haminex 135mm f2.8 lens with an unknown mount..not Canon, Minolta, Nikon, or M42.

They are all clean though... I just bought them.. don't know what to do with it now.

Cool, i would have bought them too. But like you I don't know what I would do with it. Probably display them on a shelf somewhere.

I have an M42 to EOS adapter coming next week. I'll give some of these lenses a try. There's a 400mm f6.3 baton looking thing..I'm curious.

There's a Vivtar 70-210 f3.5 macro lens (minolta mount) I may play around with... ehh.. what the heck was I thinking.

It will be hard to do anything with the FD lenses. It will be interesting to see what you can do with the M42 mount lenses though.

I'm already having fun! Taken with 550D and nifty fifty. These are some of the M42 mount (could be T mount) lenses.

That's a cool cache you found! I agree the temptation to buy all those for $100 would be too much for me to pass up. I'd probably get reversing rings for them and play around with macro. Or dust off the old AE-1 and waste some money on film.

There's a 400mm f6.3 - presumed manufactured by Tamron but sold under different names.. Tele Astranar and Spiratone.. and a very smooth fitting 2X TC.. that puts it at 800mm. I'm going to give it a try.

Here's a picture of JCP Diamatic Zoom manufactured by Sigma. Nifty fifty was placed there for a size comparison. This pictures is taken with a Nikkor 50mm f1.4.

Some of those old lenses can really hold their own with today's glass. I can tell you right off the bat that the Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm you have there is one of the more highly regarded zoom lenses ever. The Yashinon 50/1.7 is a very nice lens as well. I had one of those on my Yashica Electro-X film camera.

The 400/6.3 is probably an old T-Mount lens. That particular lens was sold under a bunch of names (Tele-Lentar, Soligor, Spiratone, etc.). You should have no problem finding a cheap T-Mount to M42 adapter on eBay.

I'm kinda hoping it's an M42 mount... as I have an M42 to ESO adapter coming today or tomorrow. And 4 other lenses look like they have the same mount.
