I am looking for a very strong but not too heavy Light Boom

Possibly using an Paul C buff Einstein and a 51 Inch PLM with a White Front Sock.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

How about providing ALL of the specifications you have for a boom.

Generally speaking, I really don't think it's a good idea to be hand-holding a boom with a light and modifier on the other end.

I agree. The only exception is using a 580 EX with a beauty dish on a pole. That is lightweight enough to be hand held by an assistant, especially in areas where the ground is uneven, and it take too much time to setup stable stands.

The drawback with hand holding lights is the lighting setup is hard to keep the same. You get a few great shots, then you go back to try to duplicate it, and find that the lighting is never the same. It is hard to "hand hold" the exact angle of any light on a pole.

If you have a walking model in an outside location, where you move around - then it can work OK. But in a studio, you are just asking for consistency issues.

Not real sure why anyone would ever want to do that in a studio...I doubt the OP is wanting to do that...

I also use a 580 EX and a small softbox on a paintpole. No issues...so you are not just limited to a BD.....
