I'm in the market for yet another backpack. I recently purchased the TT Streetwalker HD but it was way too big to wear around so now I'm looking at a smaller bag. The dimensions listed on the website doesn't do the size justice, hence the purchase of the HD. I'm now debating between the TT SW Pro or the Flipside 400. Can anyone post pictures of the bag worn on your back? I've seen countless pictures of the bags laying on the ground/table but hardly any with it worn especially the side view. Also, I already own a flipside 300 and I'm looking for a bag that is in between the flipside 300 and TT SW HD. Is the SW pro and flipside 400 similar in size? Thanks in advance.

Not on the back but you'll get some idea on size.

This is with regular Streewalker, non-Pro, Pro is bigger, as you can see here

Flipside 400 is closer to the dimensions of 300, only wider and tons more comfortable and spacious inside.

Thanks for the links. I wish that site had compared the pro with HD streetwalker so I can get a better sense of how big it is. Like I said, I didn't realize how big the HD was when I bought it and now I'm having to buy something smaller. The flipside 400 has always piqued my interest and now that I've used the flipside 300 I'm not sure if I like the fact that the flap doesn't stay open by itself unless you hold it open or tie the waist strap on it to keep it from closing. I'm really torn between these two bags. Anyone have any recommendations?

That's what happened to me. The Streetwalker HD was way too big. I went back to the store with my gear. It all fit well into the Streetwalker but with no room to expand. Since I do have a 'wish list' I settled on the Pro. I've been wearing while I exercise (walking) every day to get used to it. I think it's great. It is a little deep but I didn't buy for a fashion accessory. It serves a purpose and does it well. Next time I go to the zoo or beach with the family for a day, I'll be more than prepared.

Is it possible for you to post a picture of the pro worn on your back? I'm just trying to get a sense of how big/deep the bag is. I didn't mind the height or width of the HD, but the depth was way too deep and it felt like it stuck out my back too much. I'm hoping that the pro is reasonably deep and doesn't protrude that much.

sangyup,

I have Flipside 300, 400 and Streetwalker HD. I can lay all 3 side by side and take a picture. Would that help?

The 28-135 kit lens stands on end with room to spare. It does stick out a bit but like I say, I wasn't making a fashion statement. It's very comfortable on my back. It carries all my stuff and has room to grow.

Jason,

If you could that would be great and a big help. Do you mind if one of the angles you take are of all 3 bags from the side view so I can compare how much they would stick out if worn? Thank you!

sangyup,

I hope this helps. You can carry so much more gear in Flipside 400 than 300. There's plenty of room for other stuff like extra clothing, food, guide books etc, the reason I bought 400. It has decent waist belt if your torso is short.

Jason,

Thank you for the pictures. It really helps a lot to judge how big the flipside 400 is. This has been a tremendous help to get a feel for the size of the bag. Again, thank you for taking the time to take the pics and sharing.
