That is a great deal for a 5D2 and L lens... the 7D price isn't bad either. Yes, it would have been better to that that 5D combo, the lens can be sold for $850 without breaking a sweat, and your camera would have been under $2K. Oh well, you still got a good deal. :)

Do let us know how long it takes to get the lens delivered mate. The 5D +24-105 here in Australia is $4500 vs. $2800 from Continental. Did you phone them to verify terms and delivery date?
