Hello Guys,

I have a friend that has a Canon 7D and he wants to buy another battery. He is looking at the original Canon LP-E6 and the Pearstone LP-E6 but he asked me if is ok to use another battery from the original.

Is it OK to use a replacement or is better to always use the original one?

Thanks!!!

I am using a Sterlingtek in my 7D and it works just fine and charges with the Canon charger. I believe the Sterlingteks sell for less than the Pearstones but I am not sure about that.

I don't know anything about the Pearstone batteries but I do have a Pearstone wireless remote and it works well.
