I figured this would be a cool thread to start. To get some work out there. A thread where we can share our favorite videos that we've watched this week. It could be your own work, but preferably, the work of someone other than yourself.

I'll start us off

This video just made my jaw drop the first time I watched through it. The guy has some serious serious talent with the glidecam. Especially considering this was all handheld not using any sort of brace, support, vest, or arm system. I found it very inspirational and felt compelled right after watching it to just go outside and film something.

I don't have any link to offer, but I will comment on what you linked to. WOW. Video shooting of that quality is always inspiring to see. I have the 5DmII and 24-105, which he says he used the most and I don't have any idea how to string images like that to be a cohesive visual story.

Well I didn't see much of a story, seemed more like a bunch of random clips from Hollywood CA. Great use of the Glidecam though, I said the same thing when I got mine "This is going to be my favorite piece of equipment."

Since nobody else has offered a clip, just for the sake of keeping this going, here's another one that I thought was really really well done

Blown away by the cinematography in the video posted in the OP. Wow.

Can't wait for my glidecam to ship.

I have a hundred videos I like on Vimeo, from silly home made stuff to high production value stuff. Here's one that's a bit different from what others have posted so far.
