You have missed focus in the first 4 images.

Flash in #4 is pretty harsh...not as bad in #5. I'd be avoiding flash altogether as your shutter will be limited to the sync speed (1/200 or 1/250 depending on body).

For dynamic sports like this, you need to really up the ISO and shutter, and make full use of AF Servo.

You're off to a good start, you have the right idea with composition. Ideally you'd be able to crop or frame differently and get rid of some of the stuff in the background but I know that's not always realistic to do.

I see no reason you need flash for any of these though, just up the ISO. For sports shots that you don't plan to make big prints of, there's no reason you can't take the t2i to ISO 800 or higher if you use the canon software or lightroom to reduce a little of the noise.

Try reading up on servo AF, there's lots of good info on here. Also, I think it would help to keep the shutter speed a little higher, like 1/500th or better. And there's no reason you need F11.

To start, I'd try AV mode with your aperture set to the lowest or maybe a little higher if you want the background stuff in focus. Set your ISO to 400 or so if it's good light and 800 or 1600 once it gets a little darker. Obviously this is over-generalizing but it'll at least give you a starting point

Agreed loose the flash unless you have some good quality strobes, pick the right time of day if not. Then up your ISO a tad 400-800 if needed and use AF Servo.
