Mt. Defiance in OR

Hiked up Mt. Defiance in Oregon today. 12 miles. 4800 ft. elevation so like 4600 hiking (maybe more). 7 hours. NOT FUN. But I went with a friend because he really wanted to go. I about turned back a couple of times but I'm not a quitter so. . .These are in order of the day so you can sorta see what the weather change is like.

And for perspective in the distance traveled you can see the river in one of the picture. The parking lot is at the same elevation as the river and we walked from there.

You guys really need to visit Oregon at least once in your life.
