I'm at $1,000 for my DSLR setup, though all my photo taking equipment ever probably is about $1500 including my DSLR rig so far.

Net cost was a bit over $1800. Next things on my list are CPL, UWA, Flash + diffuser; in that order. CPL is the only thing I know I'm going to get within the next year. The rest I'm undecided on.

Cumulatively I estimate that I've spent about $4,500... But that doesn't factor in the stuff I've sold to reclaim some of my investment. In terms of current equipment it cost me around $3,000. Not too bad relative to some of the other numbers I'm seeing here. Haha.

More than I should have, but nearly as much as I would like :-P
It's no more expensive than most hobbies. And a lot cheaper
than some.

Now 7000. I dont know what is better buy expensive equipment now so i can sell it later or not buy expensive equipment and just save the money but then i wouldn't feel like it was just money to spend.
