Haha. Yeah, I often think about "liking" a comment, only to remember that there isn't one. You're not alone there.

Peter that setup looks sweet and very functional....
I really like the pic with my dish attached with the grip arm.

with modifiers and your dish, I like the Avenger arms in tandem for more stability and then I added a Red Rock Micro tube for extension. Makes it 6ft 6in to the flash tube which is high enough for me.

Jerry, I'm sure you'll come up with something better in terms of the Avenger arms ;)

Lovely (as always), Peter! So you've abandoned the dual grip arms in favor of a single lightstand riser column. Would you be able to post a photo showing how the column is attached to the cart? And is that yellow cup for donations from passersby?

thx Dave. LOL, I wish people would put money in there! It's a yellow Avelox cup I use to hold lens cap and my Sekonic.

Yeah, took an Ebay steel stand I had and used top 2 risers. Had to reinforce the inside of the tube where the Avenger grip came through so it wouldn't get totally crushed from the grip pressure which has to be really tight. Suspect there's other/better ways to mount everything ;)

chose the Bagboy Sidekick from Dick's Sporting Goods, b/c it tapers which allows the Avenger grip to fit. Drilled a hole thru cart frame so Avenger bolt can go thru it.

Thank you, Peter. I think switching over to a light stand riser column was an excellent idea. One thing that occurred to me is that the Lastolite branded version (http://www.bhphotovideo.com …rip_Head_for_Skylite.html (external link)) of the Avenger D200 grip head might work well for you as it accommodates larger tube diameters than the Avenger version. Silly price, though.

Now you have us all looking forward to Golf Cart Light Stand V3.

Nice option.

Another thing that I am looking at is this kids wagon and add a wall bracket where one can put a column for a regular c-stand.

I've boomed Quadra head with rotalux softbox which is really light using the grip arms ;)

yeah def couldn't put C stand column on the Bagboy cart. Not sure about the wagon. They do have more robust 4 wheel golf carts. Reason I like golf carts is b/c designs have been field tested and well thought out IMO ie collapses small, handle is at convenient height, rolls well, has brakes etc...

Thanks Peter. I will see if I can get my hands on a golf cart like this. Currently I use a folding wagon which is quite light to carry all my stuff but would be nice to move around with lightstand already positioned.
