Hi All,

During our trip to Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, the last thing we did which was Tasman Glacier Lake cruise (3 hours).

The glacier is the cleanest 'rock', and black glacier will turn 'white' after sometime contacting surrounding air.

Also, the creamy blue colour of the lake water was created by glacial flour, the extremely finely ground rock particles from the glaciers. So, the glacial water is very clean. But the lake has no fish due to lack of oxygen by the glacial flour.

Thanks for looking :)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Thanks tracyc, flyfish1 & msu_1972.

A half hour walk from bus stop to the lake is also breath taking:

Thanks Chris & John.

We almost missed the trip as their pamphlet look bit low key to us.

Nice series X-Tan. That last shot with the bus really shows how enormous this place is. Thanks for sharing man. :)
