buy a s95 or wait for it's successor?

I asked myself the same question, then bought the S95...and over the weekend, shot a couple of the best photos I've ever taken with it. I would have missed them if I had waited.

You can always wait for something better, but in the meantime, you miss stuff. Get it! I bought one for my son and he loves it.

I skipped to the end of the thread, but did anyone put the option on the table of buying the S95, taking care of it and selling it when its successor comes out to fund the new model? That's what I've been doing for years. Saves you money and you always stay with top of the line!

The price of the s95 on amazon right bow is absurd, more than the retail price of the camera. I know b&h had the s95 for $400 the last time I checked.

The best deal I've heard of is to get a 10% off coupon for best buy (evidently they're around - I've been told you can pick one up from the post office as some sort of moving package) and buy it from best buy.
