My 1st Wedding Critique

I recently shot my first wedding and im going through the pictures editing them. Before i get ahead of my self how are my edits coming along? Some of the shots there looking at my partner shooting so thats why some there not looking at me.

Can't see any of them.

How about now? I have the folder locked on my zenfolio. I think that might be why. But i unlocked it for now.

They look like some pretty nice shots. The edits are a bit cool and just in the future watch your dappled light. It's not terrible but it is a little distracting. Overall nice though, good focus and clarity.

Yea we tried to position them in the shade but it was hard to find a good spot and location. Ill warm them up a bit too now that i look at them

I like how crisp they are. Focus is pretty spot on also. What did you shoot with?

I took them off and redid them with a better (i think) WB lmk what you think. Most was shot with the 5d classic and either the 50mm 1.4 85 1.8 or tamron 28-75 2.8

Should i crop the left side a little bit?

Yeah, I would crop it.

1. Cute shot. If you posed this, I would recommend having him kiss her on the cheek, this is more of a romantic shot (I thought he may be the groom).

2. Looks good, but a TAD bit bright for me.

3. WB really changed. Either keep them cooler or warmer, but dont mix it.

4. I get what you were going for here, but it doesnt work for me. This works better when you have something more concrete to focus on. For example, having them stand a little bit apart and holding hands. This almost looks like you took a mistake shot.

5. Splotchy light and a bit cool. I would have them a little higher in the frame too I think.

6. Splotchy light and cool, but I am digging this. Have her relax her are a bit more, and pull the veil over her shoulder. This will thin her out a bit and make it a much more relaxed portrait.

7. In moments like these, I like to be looking from the grooms side to the brides side. Her reaction is great, his is not.

8. A bit cool, she looks tense, and they are quite centered.

9. A crop might help, but their kissy-face throws me. I like the veil over her shoulder, but still with those flowers.

10. I wouldnt include this. Really strange crop, bride looks heavy, just not a flattering example of the bride or your composition skills.

Most of these points are just me being nit-picky, and the images arent at all bad, but there is some stuff you can do to improve them.

I really like the moments you captured with the bride & FOB int he first 3. Not much I can add to the good suggestions you've gotten already.
