Using 550EX as master and 430EX as slave.
Sometimes slave works and sometimes not working. Usually first 10 shots work perfect and then it does not work. Batteries are full.
Any thought?

That's just telling you its acting as a slave. Check the pilot light on the rear of the slave for capacitor status. It will be constant red if its ready to fire. SOSKIphoto

It will be constant red if its ready to fire. As someone else mentioned, IR is hit or miss outside in daylight. Its much better in the shade, but still not like indoors.
